Travelbay is a travel platform designed to help Africans and non-Africans in the diaspora explore and reconnect with the continent through curated, cross-cultural travel experiences.
As the Product Designer, I led end-to-end design efforts across the platform, including the website, B2C dashboard and currently a B2B dashboard for travel partners . I shaped key features, including onboarding, personalised trip planning, and checkout. I guided core design decisions that improved conversion by 40%, reduced bounce rates by 60%, and supported expansion into a new market. These efforts helped scale Travelbay’s impact, driving user activation and contributing to a 200% revenue increase after MVP launch.
